Best for Workers' Compensation : The Hartford

Investopedia's Rating
3.7

The Hartford

The Hartford

  • Monthly premiums: Not disclosed
  • Customer complaints: More than expected
Why We Chose It

Many companies specializing in esthetician insurance don’t offer workers’ compensation insurance. If you have employees, The Hartford could be a good choice for workers’ compensation insurance, particularly due to the cost savings from bundling it with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:business owner’s policy

Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Online claims

  • Discount for bundling business owner🌜’s policy and workers’ compensation

  • Good selection of coverage types

Cons
  • Lacks information on coverage and exclusion

Overview

Estheticians who have employees need workers’ compensation insurance. The Hartford’s coverage may be a good option because of the potential 10% discount when bundling workers’ compensation with a business owner’s policy, which includes general liability, commercial property, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:business income insurance.

The Hartford’s workers’ compensation coverage provides access to a network of more than 1 million medical providers and 65,000 pharmacies for prescriptions, usually with no out-of-pocket expenses for your employees. There’s also a needle stick reim♓bursement program that helps cover medical expenses and testing for the employee and client in case of a needle stick injury. Estheticians who perform services like microneedling could be at risk of these injuries.

One concern is that ๊The Hartford has a higher-than-expected volume of customer complaints for its liability and workers’ compensation business lines. And we could💟n’t find much information on whether it covers as many services as companies specializing in esthetician insurance, such as ASCP, NACAMS, and Beauty and Bodywork. However, those companies don’t offer workers’ compensation.

The Hartford was founded in 1810 an﷽d is based in Hartfor🐓d, Connecticut.
