J.D. Gardner: J.D. started Aptus in 2013 with a focus on investors' behavior gaps. He holds both the CFA Charter and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations and has worked at UBS and Morgan Stanley. With experience in developing systematic strategies, he saw the opportunity to help navigate the current environment with efficiencies found in the ETF structure. J.D. lives in Fairhope, Alabama with his wife and four children.
