OpenAI unveiled Dall-E 3, the latest iteration of its text-to-image tool using artificial intelligence (AI) that integrates with ChatGPT prompts, as the competition to offer more sophisticated AI tools heats up.

Dall-E 3 is expected to be available to ChatGPT Plus & Enterprise customers via the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查🐠询:application programming interface (API) in October. OpenAI said Dall-E 3 builds on Dall-E 2's capabilities but can provide more precise images with a better understanding of context. Through its integration with ChatGPT, users can ask the highly popular AI chatbot for prompts and use those instructions for Dall-E 3 to follow.

It also has more safeguar😼ds in place to prevent the tool🌱 from generating images that could be deemed offensive by limiting its ability to respond to violent or hateful inputs. Open AI said it worked with external testers to implement these features.

While the images created with Dall-E 3 would belong to the user to reprint, sell, or merchandise without permission, a U.S. court in Washington, D.C., ruled last month that AI-generated art without human input cannot be copyrighted.

The release comes as OpenAI's text-to-image tool faces increasing competition from those released by others such as Alibaba (BABA) and Meta (META), as well as Midjourney, which has a large following worldwide.
