Milei has promised to abandon the peso and make Argentina the world’s largest economy to adopt the U.S. dollar as its official currency. He has also said he will reform the centrไal bank and pension system.
The election results come as Argentina grapples with a 150% inflation rate and ꧅rising poverty levels.
