Meta Platforms (META) is reportedly planning to start charging European users a monthly subscription fee for ad-free versions of apps like Facebook and Instagram. The proposal comes after European Union rules threaten to restrict the social media giant’s ability to show personalized ads to users in the region.

2.💜 Ford, General Motors Lay Off More Workers as UAW St𓃲rike Continues

Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) laid off another 500 workers as a result of the ongoing United Auto Workers (UAW) strike, coming after the two companies laid off workers last week due to work stoppages at plants. Shares of GM dipped about 0.2% in the pre-market, while Ford shares moved up fractionally, and Stellantis (STLA) shares gained 0.2%.

3. Tesla Shares Dip After Third Quarter 𒅌Deliveries Miss

Tesla (TSLA) shares dipped 1% in pre-market trading after reporting third quarter deliveries on Monday that came in below expectations.
